Watercoloring with Pigment Inks

Welcome to my new blog. Hopefully it will be easier to find me here ….not to mention, an easier format for me to learn.

Today, I’m sharing a card that I made yesterday using my clearsnap colorbox pigent inks. If you took the latest cardmaking class with watercolors you would have seen these pigment inks used by Yana.

I chose to just do an easy rainbow background the first time so I could get used to how these inks work with the water and paint brush. I love how soft the colors are. I decided to use the Spectrum stamp set,  from Paper Smooches, with that adorable Unicorn and sentiment on this card because they go so well with it! I colored my images with copic markers and added some shimmer with my clear wink of stella. The sentiment was stamped using Simon Says Stamp’s black dye ink and the silver enamel dots are from Basic Grey.
